Select your subscription plan by choosing your size: full-size or mini and enter your names if you’d like your boxes personalised.

Then decide if you would like to receive your first box straight away or wait for the next delivery date (around the 11th-15th of the following month).   Make payment for your first box and create your subscription account.  

Then every month, we take payment on the last day of the month. Around the 10th of the following month we will post out your Trunk.

Full-Size Treat Trunk – 20-25 different healthy, vegan friendly snacks every month, including more premium items and larger pack sizes (£35.99 a month) 

Mini Treat Trunk – 10-15 different healthy, vegan friendly snacks every month – a selection from the full size box (£19.99 every month)

We do indeedy! Our one off gift boxes are priced at £24.99 and £39.99 for a regular Treat Trunk and you can customise them by choosing adults, kids or both. Subscribers get 10% off one off boxes. You can include a short gift message at checkout as well as gift wrap and faster delivery at an additional cost.

We also have a New Mum box which is £29.99 and a great way to support the pre and postpartum period of Motherhood.

Our full-size treat trunk contains 20-25 fun, tasty, vegan friendly, healthy snacks including more premium items and some larger pack sizes. Our mini version contains 10-15 snacks. 

You will find a selection of premium, real food, delicious snacks in each box and if buying a one off or mini subscription box you can customise the box to adults, kids or both.

Postage within the UK is free unless you would like to pay a small amount to upgrade to first class. 

Delivery during regular conditions is 2 working days from date of posting.  Please contact us after 10 working days of your shipping email if your Trunk hasn’t arrived. If you haven’t received a shipping email please check your junk folder and make sure to whitelist us.

We aim to post one off and welcome boxes within 2 working days of ordering and subscriptions are posted around the 10th of each month.

Sadly, we are unable to post to Europe anymore due to Brexit and the unmanageable customs requirements.

Any alterations you make to your account are instant but if we have already collected payment for that month’s box then your subscription will be cancelled from the following month. 

We ensure all boxes that are posted to our customers are of the highest standard but should the box or contents be faulty you can return within 14 days of receipt for a replacement. 

The contents must be posted back to us in the condition they arrived to you. Please send via tracked delivery as we cannot exchange or refund until the box arrives back with us.

We aim to post exchanges out within 2 working days of receiving your return.

When we launched Treat Trunk we wanted to label the boxes gluten free but found we couldn’t if any snacks were packaged in a factory that handles gluten.  Very few of our snacks contain gluten in the ingredients though so it is very easy for us to do a gluten free box.  Just pop a note in the allergen box at checkout, including if ‘may contains’ is OK and we will pack your boxes accordingly.

If may contains is a problem for you then please just be aware that you may receive duplicates and/or products from previous boxes.

Sugar Sensible is the term we like to use for applying common sense to nutrition and overall wellbeing and using good judgement.  

We first intended to make the boxes refined sugar free but there is debate on what refined means (some people consider coconut sugar to be refined) and also we were rejecting very healthy snacks due to a small amount of refined cane sugar.  Cane sugar itself is a natural ingredient and when consumed in its raw state has a much lower GI than refined cane sugar as well as some beneficial nutrients.

We discovered many excellent snacks that contained sugar but in a much lower amount than regular sweets and also with balanced macros (fats and/or proteins alongside the carbs) which helps stabilise your blood sugar and prevent spiking.

We take a holistic approach to health in that we consider the overall health of a product when all the ingredients are taken into consideration and that meant that some products with a small amount of refined sugar could be considered healthier than others with a higher, unrefined sugar content.

We want to be able to offer as many snacks with as high a percentage of whole foods you can pronounce as possible and since there is a lot of debate in the world of nutrition we try to take a practical approach.

Part of our ethos is to make healthy eating fun and enjoyable and the benefits of this far outweigh adherence to some arbitrary rigid guidelines.

We do our best to cater for allergies as we know it can be hard to find a good variety of suitable foods.

If your requirements are pretty simple then just pop us a note in the allergy box at checkout, including if ‘may contains’ is OK.

If your allergies are a little more tricky, please email [email protected] with your requirements and we can tell you if it’s doable.

You will be responsible for checking the ingredients on each item including ‘may contains’ info as we cannot guarantee all snacks are 100% free of the allergen.  Also as a busy mum, mistakes do happen so please do double check your snacks each time.

We choose to work with small, ethical businesses, helping more small brands to succeed, paving the way to a more financially equal country.

Many of the companies we work with use biodegradable, compostable and/or recyclable packaging but unfortunately not all can at the moment. The packaging technology just isn’t quite there yet and many suppliers found their products rotting on shop shelves where the packaging had degraded. 

We also think there need to be affordable healthy snacks on the market so that everyone has access to them and this means using cheaper, plastic packaging to keep the food fresh. We feel ethics is about more than one issue and we like to think we make the world a better place with our business. 

Our boxes are recyclable and we use paper tape.  Any tissue paper is acid free, made from 100% recycled fibres and 100% recyclable. Finally, the shredded packing paper we sometimes use is made from 100% recycled fibres and is 100% recyclable. We also use wood wool which is natural and biodegradeable.

We will regularly share recipes for batch making your own healthy snacks on our blog, helping to reduce packaging by making snacks at home.
