These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and by accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out here. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions you may not use or access this website. These terms and conditions abide by The Consumer Contract Regulations. You’re welcome to print or store these terms for your own records.

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms and Conditions. You can review the most current version of the Terms and Conditions at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Treat Trunk owns the copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit or otherwise make available by any other means only for your own personal, non–commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited. While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on Treat Trunk website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy. This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice which forms part of these terms and conditions. Occasionally this website may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s). We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).

Wherever the term “Working Days or Hours” is featured, this excludes bank holidays, weekends and public holidays such as Christmas. Any holiday times will be clearly displayed on the homepage. When you place an order with Treat Trunk you will be sent an order confirmation detailing your order, this is giving you ample opportunity to correct any possible errors. Any deviations should be brought to our attention immediately. Should you have any complaints, please send them to the contact information detailed at the bottom of this document. These terms and conditions apply to all transactions on this site. They do not affect your statutory rights.


Payment is via Stripe who accept debit and credit cards.

Prices are in pounds sterling.

By purchasing a monthly Treat Trunk subscription, you are consenting to a recurring purchase that will charge you every month on the same date you signed up. Your subscription will be automatically extended for successive monthly periods, at the original subscription rate, removing any one-off discounts. Cancellation information can be found further down in our Terms.

If a subscription renewal fails, this may be due to a number of reasons. Any payment information that you have changed may affect the payment, or it may be due to insufficient funds on the card you have registered for payment. We will retry payment every day for 10 days, after which if payment is still unsuccessful we will cancel your subscription and any pending shipments.

Any contract for purchases made through the website will be with Treat Trunk. Treat Trunk must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed.


Orders must be placed by the end of the month to begin your subscription the following month.  Very occasionally we may have to replace certain items in the full size box if we run out of stock as we buy the stock before the end of the month to make sure the boxes are packed in time and the contents list is ready. Also the wholesalers sometimes send us a lower amount of stock than ordered without warning.

If you select a welcome box, a box will be posted within 2 working days of ordering. Your next box will be posted around the 10th of the following month, this will be your first box if you didn’t choose to receive a welcome box.  Renewal payments are the last day of every month.


Shipping of Treat Trunk is around the 10th of each month, however we cannot guarantee that this will always be the case and actual delivery dates can vary. You will receive a shipping confirmation once your trunk has been posted.

We aim to post one off trunks within 3 days of receiving an order by Royal Mail and can take 3-5 working days to receive after shipping although 2nd class mail is often received sooner. If you need first class delivery, let us know and we’ll just remove a snack to cover the extra.

During a pandemic such as the Covid-19 crisis we may drop our deliveries to once a week and may deliver sooner in case post offices close.

Should your order not arrive by the 20th of the month, please contact Treat Trunk. You must let us know within 14 days of shipping that your box hasn’t arrived for a replacement or refund. We will need to track this through Royal Mail to confirm it is lost before sending another.

Returns & Cancellations

We ensure all items that are posted to our customers are of the highest standard but should the item be faulty you can return within 14 days of receipt.

The contents must be posted back to us in the condition they arrived to you within 14 days of receipt.

Please send via tracked delivery as we cannot exchange or refund until the box arrives back with us.

We will post exchanges out within 3 days of receiving your return.

Refunds take 5-10 days to clear in your account.

If you wish to return an item, please notify us by email at [email protected] We will then process your return.

You can pause, cancel or change your subscription at any time by logging into your account HERE.  If you’re having difficulty doing so please email us at [email protected]

If you haven’t received your box you must let us know within 14 days of shipping for a replacement or refund. We will need to attempt to track it through Royal Mail first before declaring it lost.


Photos – Photos shown are for illustration purposes only as snacks change monthly.  Photos of box contents and item lists will be shared after the boxes have been received so as to retain the surprise element.  

Box types

We sell 2 sizes of box – full-size (22-25 snacks) and mini (12-15 snacks).  Our main box contains a wide variety of products and may include animal products such as dairy, eggs, honey, jerky etc. If you’d rather avoid these please select the tickbox for vegan when ordering. For diversity and variety we have allowed ‘may contains’ animal products in the vegan box based on feedback from vegans who are happy with ‘may contains’ and would prefer the variety.  If you would like to ensure your box is strictly vegan with no ‘may contains’ products, please email [email protected] or leave a note at checkout and we will leave out products packed in a factory containing animal products but just be aware that you may have duplicates and repeats from previous months.

Allergies – The snacks in our vegan box are all classified vegan but some may have been handled in a factory with dairy etc. If you would like us to try to leave out certain allergens we can try to accommodate your requirements but since we are a small family business with 2 young children we cannot guarantee they will be 100% free of allergens due to the setting they were handled in and wouldn’t like to risk making someone ill or compromise their morality – so please use your judgement here.  You are also advised to double check individual snack packets before opening them.

ALWAYS READ THE LABEL. If you suffer from known allergies, again, please read the product’s ingredients list prior to consumption. Treat Trunk does not accept responsibility for any adverse reactions caused by consumption of an allergen.

Young Children
While many of the snacks will be suitable for children under 3, some definitely won’t be.  It is your responsibility to ensure your children are safe when consuming any snacks and to be mindful of any choke hazards.  Please read the back of each individual snack packet and use your judgement when giving to children under 3 years old.

I, Sally Wade, am not a health practitioner so my views on healthy eating are from my own wealth of research and experience. We are nutritionist approved and regularly send them boxes to ensure they meet their approval. The snacks are healthier options than most of those found in your local sweet shop but they should still be eaten in moderation alongside a healthy, real food diet.
