If your office snack situation is a biscuit tin that gets refilled whenever someone remembers, you already know the problem. Sugar spikes at 11am, a crash by 3pm, and everyone reaching for another coffee just to get through the afternoon. We’ve spent years figuring out what actually works for a room full of different people with different tastes, so here’s what we’d stock in an office in 2026, and why.
What makes an office snack actually healthy?
For us, it comes down to real food ingredients, a sensible amount of sugar rather than none at all, and a balance of carbs with protein or fat so blood sugar doesn’t spike and crash. We call this Sugar Sensible: it’s less about cutting everything out and more about picking snacks that keep people going without the guilt.
Five snack categories worth having in the cupboard
A good office snack drawer covers more than one need. Here’s what we’d include:
- Protein and fat balanced bars. Nut and seed bars keep blood sugar steady through a long afternoon, which matters more than almost anything else on this list.
- Naturally lower sugar treats. Dark chocolate, coconut sugar bakes and similar options mean nobody feels like they’re missing out on something sweet.
- Grab and go, no prep needed. Individually wrapped snacks that don’t need a fridge, a bowl or cutlery actually get eaten. Anything with extra steps tends to sit in the cupboard.
- Gut friendly options. Popcorn and snacks with pre or probiotics are an easy win that people don’t always think to ask for.
- Something that still feels like a treat. If every single snack is virtuous, people will just go back to the vending machine. Leave room for something genuinely fun.
How much should a team actually budget for office snacks?
This is the question we get asked most, so here are real numbers rather than a vague “get in touch.” Our Letterbox snack box is £15.99 per box, dropping automatically to £13.75 per box on orders of 20 or more and £13.00 per box on orders of 50 or more, all to one address, with no discount code needed. A one off Deluxe Corporate Snack Box with 60+ snacks is £125. There’s no minimum order either way.
Office snacks or letterbox snacks: what’s the difference?
An office snack box is built for a shared kitchen or breakout space: one bigger delivery that the whole team dips into. A letterbox box is sized to fit through an actual letterbox, which makes it the better option for hybrid or fully remote teams, since we can post an individual box straight to each person’s home rather than relying on everyone being in the building on the same day.
What we get asked before a team places an order
Can you handle allergies and dietary requirements? Yes. All of our boxes are vegetarian and mostly vegan, and we can tailor individual boxes for gluten free, nut free and other requirements, even within a single bulk order. Can you deliver to a list of home addresses rather than one office? Yes, that’s one of the things we do most often: send us a spreadsheet of names and addresses and we’ll post a tracked box to each one. We’ve handled orders of 800 or more boxes this way.
If you’re putting together an office snack plan for the rest of 2026, our corporate orders page has the full range, including bulk pricing and remote team delivery. Or just drop us a line and we’ll help you work out what fits your team.
